Z Energy initiated a Tender process for the upgrade of their analogue CCTV systems in their 212 Service Stations throughout New Zealand. Executives specified criteria that ensured the approved system future proofed their investment to allow for expansion, software upgrades without licensing costs, remote viewing and analytics.

One of Z Energies major ongoing concerns was the theft of fuel by customers in what is termed in the industry as a “drive off”.

BNZ NORTHWEST AUCKLAND

 

Focus Digital Security were invited to tender for the electronic security services of BNZ's proposed new store in the Northwest Shopping Centre in Auckland. The tender included CCTV, Access Control and Intruder alarm systems and required each of these systems to meet BNZ's extensive security specifications. Focus had previously successfully worked with the BNZ on their Executive Protection Program and ATM Channels Division.

NIWA – MV TANGAROA WELLINGTON

 

NIWA is an acronym for the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research which is a Crown Research Institute of New Zealand. Established in 1992, NIWA conducts commercial and non-commercial research across a broad range of disciplines in the environmental sciences. It also maintains nationally and, in some cases, internationally important environmental monitoring networks, databases, and collections.

PETER BAKER TRANSPORT CHRISTCHURCH

 

PBT Transport designed and built a new freight and logistics depot in Christchurch and appointed Focus Digital Security Solutions Limited to develop an IP CCTV system within a brief that included Hi -resolution images, comprehensive site coverage, capable of expansion, remote viewing and future integration of analytics such as ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition). PBT specified that the system be networked to their Head Office for Management review for misplaced or misappropriated freight and significantly to investigate Health and Safety incidents.

THE WAREHOUSE GROUP NATIONAL SUPPORT OFFICE 

 

The Warehouse Group constructed a new 3 story office block as an extension of the existing building. Management commenced a Tender process with specifications that required the project to be completed in stages to ensure security of both the new and old sites and to cause minimal disruption to Staff. The project was to include upgrading the old buildings security devices and CCTV cameras and full integration of the total sites Alarm and Access Control’s reporting, monitoring and management systems.

AUCKLAND GREYHOUND RACING CLUB
 

 

To meet legislative requirements of the Racing Industry the Auckland Greyhound Club conducted an audit of their Manukau track and kennels aged analogue CCTV system finding that it was in need of an upgrade.Under the Racing Act 2003 and NZ Greyhound Codes of Practice, rules have been established requiring Greyhound racing management to investigate and report on any incident or animal welfare issue.
